Four boxes of Soviet Svema OCh-45 - the classic black and white reversal 16mm cine film from the Shostka plant, rated GOST 45 (about ISO 50), 30 metres (approx. 100 ft) per box. All four are new old stock: three boxes are dated for processing before March 1976, one before August 1984. This is long-expired film sold for experiments: expect reduced speed and noticeable base fog, as with any 40-50-year-old stock. Reversal process - shoot it, develop it and project it, or scan it as a positive. We have two identical lots of four; the photos show one of them.
New old stock, expired. Four factory boxes, never opened; the cardboard shows shelf wear and age marks (see photos). Process-before dates March 1976 (3 boxes) and August 1984 (1 box). Stored dry at room temperature, not refrigerated. Sensitivity and fog level are untested - 40-50-year-old film is sold as-is for experimental use with no guarantee of results. The 1984 box is marked double-sided perforation.
OCh-45 is a reversal (positive) film. Process it as B&W reversal, or as a negative in a standard B&W developer and scan it. For stock this old add generous exposure and test a short strip first.
